Venu Sports Will Launch This Fall — Here’s How Much it Will Cost
This fall, sports fans will have a streaming service all to themselves when Venu Sports launches.
The joint venture between Disney, Fox, and Warner Bros. Discovery will bring together the biggest sports channels on cable, giving fans an alternative to both traditional cable and broader streaming services.
Venu will include Disney-owned ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SECN, ACCN, ESPNEWS, and the ABC broadcast network. ESPN+ will also be included.

How Much Will Venu Cost?
While we do not know the exact date that Venu Sports will launch, the service is expected to arrive in time for the start of the NFL season.

What we do now know, however, is that the new streamer will cost fans $42.99 per month.
“With an impressive portfolio of sports programming, Venu will provide sports fans in the U.S. with a single destination for watching many of the most sought-after games and events,” Venu CEO Pete Distad said in a statement.

“We’re building Venu from the ground up for fans who want seamless access to watch the sports they love, and we will launch at a compelling price point that will appeal to the cord cutter and cord never fans currently not served by existing pay TV packages.”
The Rate Will be Garunteed For a Year
According to a new report from Variety, Venu will offer customers a free seven-day trial. Customers who sign up for the initial monthly rate will also be guaranteed the price for a year.

While Venu Sports will launch as a stand-alone app, it is also expected that the streamer will be included in bundles. How exactly Disney, Fox, and Warner navigate those bundles, however, remains to be seen.
