Magic Kingdom’s Hub Snack Stand Closes For Refurbishment
While the construction of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure over in Frontierland continues to grab all the headlines, we here at MickeyBlog are dedicated to bringing you ALL the news coming out of the Magic Kingdom.
As such, it is my duty to report that the snack stand located on the Tomorrowland side of the Magic Kingdom hub has been closed off for refurbishment.
The Scene in the Hub
If you are a frequent Disney World patron, you will likely recognize this stand as a great place to grab some popcorn as you leave Main Street, USA, and head out for adventure in the park’s other lands.
According to a Cast Member that we talked to, the stand is currently being remodeled to match the kiosk on the opposite side of the hub.
While the kiosk remains tarped off, a temporary ice cream cart offering frozen treats and cool drinks is serving guests. While it does not have the fresh-popped popcorn that the stand was previously known for, guests can get a box of popcorn at the temporary location.
Based on the look of things, I wouldn’t expect the snack stand renovation to take very long.
How Long Will the Refurbishment Last?
Hopefully, the unmistakable smell of fresh-popped popcorn will once again waft through the Tomorrowland side of the hub. I know I will be the first in line when it does!
As always, be sure to check back with MickeyBlog. We will continue to update you on all the news coming out of Walt Disney World!
