New Queue Signs Arrive at The Mad Tea Party
As hard as it is to believe, the Mad Tea Party has been entertaining guests with a whimsical spin in Fantasyland for over 50 years now.
During that time, generations of fans have whirled and spun to the delightful music of Alice in Wonderland and The Mad Tea Party has become an iconic Disney ride.
Over the last five-plus decades, the attraction experience has remained largely unchanged. That doesn’t mean, however, that Disney has not updated the ride from time to time.
New Tulgey Wood Queue Signs Have Been Installed
Today, when visiting the classic Magic Kingdom attraction, we spotted new queue signs that have been added to the ride’s iconic facade.
The new signs are designed to look like they are made up of Tulgey Wood, which is, of course, native to Wonderland.
Previously, the signs had a floral look to them.
The new Tulgy wood signs are pink for Lightning Lane and purple for “stand by”. The “wait time” sign is also purple and looks to almost be pointing towards the entrance!
Eagle-eye visitors will also notice a pair of tulips hanging from atop the “stand by” entrance sign.
A Familiar Timepiece
Last but certainly not least, let’s take a look at the new Lightning Lane sign.
If the timepiece looks familiar to you, it should! As opposed to the Citizen clock that previously adorned the attraction, this new clock clearly belongs to the White Rabbit!
All in all, the new signs look great!
While The Mad Tea Party’s facade may have been updated, the rest of the attraction remains the same. Hopefully, guests will continue spinning for another 50 years!
