A New Figment Imagination Institute T-Shirt Has Landed at EPCOT
While Journey Into Your Imagination With Figment has not seen any major changes in 2002, both the attraction and the Imagination! pavilion as a whole seems to be going through something of a renaissance.
Even though Figment has not had a well-received attraction in twenty-six years, the little purple dragon is more popular than ever.
Now clearly established as the official mascot of EPCOT, Figment has taken center stage in the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts and become synonymous with this new era of the park. If you don’t believe it, check out EPCOT’s stores — they are chock full of new Figment merchandise!
Today, for example, when visiting the Imagination! pavilion, we discovered a new Figment Imagination Institute t-shirt.
Figment and the Imagination Institue
Once the predominant theming in the Imagination! pavilion, the Imagination Institute has been put on the back burner since the removal of Honey, I Shrunk the Audience!
This new shirt, however, celebrates both Figment himself and the institute that he now calls home.
The front of the tee features Figment happily posing alongside the Imagination Institute’s iconic logo. It is great to see the winged lightbulb icon return in recent years!

While the back of the shirt is blank, the sleeve features the new EPCOT logo.
