Photos: Check Out the Newest Construction Updates at EPCOT
Good morning Disney friends! It is a grey day here at Walt Disney World, but plenty of guests are outside enjoying the cloudy skies and cooler weather.
Our MickeyBlog reporting team is also up early, exploring EPCOT, and bringing you the newest construction updates happening right now.
New Updates
If you have been following along with MickeyBlog, you know that there have been plenty of updates happening across the Disney theme parks this week.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Everything from water testing at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure to Disney’s Boardwalk construction and more.
One of the first updates we noticed was over at CommuniCore Hall.
New panels have been appearing on the outside of the building for the last few weeks.
Today, we noticed that even more paneling has been added to the exterior creating a unique, geometric texture.
Previously, we noticed these changes only happening to the upper portion of the building, but today it appears that paneling has also been added to the lower portion.
Additional scaffolding is outside of the building, likely to assist with placing the panels. We can’t wait to see the finished project.
MickeyBlog also reported earlier this week that green scrims had gone up in World Nature, near the Imagination! pavilion.
EPCOT is getting ready for this year’s colorful Butterfly Garden.
The Butterfly Garden is one of the most popular experiences at this spring’s festival.
Guests can wander through colorful blooms and bright foliage as they are surrounded by hundreds of fluttering butterflies.
Our team noticed that more poles have been added to the location.
Here is another great look at the progress made in just a few days.
The 2024 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival runs from February 28th – May 27th.
This is one of EPCOT’s best festivals to experience.
In addition to the beautiful Butterfly Garden, EPCOT will feature whimsical topiary displays, new merchandise, great entertainment, and amazing food and drinks.
