Disneyland Wait Times for February 2024
Hey, whatever happened to the slow seasons at Disney theme parks?
We’re definitely not tracking smaller crowds lately at the parks, even though we just finished January.
I mean, yes, the crowds decreased from December, but that’s solely due to the massive attendance then.
As you’re about to see, the Disneyland wait times for February 2024 reflect the new Disney, one where the “offseason” is a myth.
About Disneyland Resort
Disneyland Resort just completed a historic year, one that fundamentally changed the world’s oldest theme park.
As part of the Disney100 event, Disney opened new attractions, re-themed popular lands, and so much more.
Now that we’re in 2024, those updates continue. Currently, Haunted Mansion has closed.
Disney is revamping the attraction queue and adding more entertainment.
Similarly, Disney’s Pixar Pier Hotel just opened the other day.
Walt Disney’s prevailing rule about Disneyland remains. It will continue to change and grow.
That’s in addition to the Disney100 event that the parks hosted throughout 2023.
You could have visited The Happiest Place on Earth during six different months last year and discovered something entirely new.
Not coincidentally, park attendance remains high as guests flock to all the new stuff available at Disneyland Resort.
How did that impact attraction wait times? Let’s check.

About Disneyland Park Wait Times
Overall, guests waited in line for an average of 30 minutes per attraction, which is four minutes less than last time.
That’s a relatively reasonable change from December to January. And yes, despite this article’s name, we’re evaluating January wait times.
I should point out some irregularities on this list, though.
For starters, there’s a good reason why It’s a Small World’s average wait time shrunk.
The attraction stopped operating its Christmas overlay.
Similarly, Haunted Mansion Holiday has closed. In fact, Haunted Mansion will remain offline for several months.
As I mentioned earlier, Disney is reconfiguring the attraction queue to add more interactive entertainment.
We’ll also get a new Madame Leota store in the process, and I’m here for it.
Still, we’ll witness some ripple effects over the next couple of months as other attraction wait times increase.
Whenever one of Disneyland Park’s most popular attractions closes, others watch their wait times creep up a bit.
Disney California Adventure
At Disney California Adventure, the Christmas ride overlays have also returned to the closet.
We won’t see them again until November, which breaks my heart. I’m all for Christmas all the time at the parks.
Anyway, DCA typically witnesses a larger drop in January than Disneyland because The Happiest Place on Earth is ridiculously steady.
How were the wait times this past month? Let’s check.
Average Wait Times at Disney California Adventure
Here are Disney California Adventure’s average wait times for last month:
- Radiator Springs Racers – 66 minutes, down 26
- Toy Story Midway Mania! – 48 minutes, down 12
- Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! – 46 minutes, down 12
- WEBSLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure – 44 minutes, down 8
- Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! – 37 minutes, down 8
- Soarin’ Around the World – 35 minutes, down 15
- Goofy’s Sky School – 34 minutes, down 6
- Luigi’s Rollick’ Roadsters – 31 minutes, down 3
- Pixar Pal-A-Round – 28 minutes, down 6
- The Incredicoaster – 24 minutes, down 12
- Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree – 17 minutes, down 5
- The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure – 15 minutes, down 4
- Mickey’s PhilharMagic – 13 minutes, no change
- Silly Symphony Swings – 11 minutes, down 2
- Jumpin’ Jellyfish – 11 minutes, down 1
- Golden Zephyr – 9 minutes, down 6
- Jessie’s Critter Carousel – 8 minutes, no change
These wait times largely speak for themselves. Obviously, Disney California Adventure experienced a dip this past month.
So, while Disneyland Park doesn’t have an offseason, you could argue that DCA possibly does.
Guests at DCA stood in line for an average of 27 minutes, which is seven minutes or 21 percent less than last time.
