Skyliner Service to Disney’s Hollywood Studios Has Resumed!
As an unabashed fan of the Disney Skyliner system, I always try my best to stay at a resort somewhere on the line.
If you ask me, there is no better way to travel around property than via gondola.
Unfortunately for guests staying at Walt Disney World last week, the Skyliner was grounded as part of its yearly maintenance.
Every year, typically in January, Disney closes down the Skyliner line to refresh the transportation system and make sure that all systems are a go.
Two Skyliner Lines Resume Service
Well, I am happy to report that after five days of having to use the Disney bus system, guests staying at Pop Century, the Art of Animation, and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort can once again fly high above Walt Disney World to arrive at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The Skyliner line between Pop Century, the Art of Animation, and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort had been shut down with the rest of the system on January 16. Likewise, the connecting flight from the Caribbean to Disney’s Hollywood Studios was also halted. During this time, additional bus transportation was available at the affected resorts.
Now, however, the cheery buckets are once again lining Disney’s skies. That means resort guests can arrive at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in style!
The EPCOT Skyliner Line Remains Closed
However, I should mention that the line connecting Disney’s Riviera and Caribbean Beach Resort with EPCOT will be closed for a few more days. That route is expected to resume service on January 27.
So, if you plan on staying at any Disney Skyliner resort, be prepared!
But also, enjoy your trip on the “happiest flight on Earth” as you visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
