The 100 Disney Wishes Series Comes to an End With Aulani Wish Week
As 2023 drew to a close, Good Morning America and Make-A-Wish concluded their 100 Disney Wishes series in honor of The Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary.
The 100 Disney Wishes series began on Monday, October 16, when 8-year-old Madison was surprised on air with a trip to Walt Disney World.

Since that time, Good Morning America and ABC stations reported on another 99 Disney wishes granted. These included wish reveal moments, wishes granted throughout the year, and a look back at other powerful stores from the more than 150,000 wishes that Disney and Make-A-Wish have granted together since 1980.

Among the heartwarming stories that were featured were Raelyn’s wish to be a Pixar pastry chef, Connor’s Star Wars wish, Caleb’s Buffalo Bills Wish, and Carter’s memorable visit to EPCOT.
Aulani Wish Week
The series then concluded with the feature on Aulani Wish Week — a week-long event that allowed 20 wish kids and their families to experience the magic of Disney’s Aulani resort.
The unforgettable Aulani Wish Week was full of special surprises, including a dinner party with Stitch and Angel!

During the week, 11-year-old Wish kid Elijah’s wish was also granted. He had been fighting an aggressive form of bone cancer when his life was changed by a music therapist whose guitar playing provided solace for his pain.
During the Aulani Wish Week, activities catered to each child’s wish while also creating a community of kids and families who shared the experience.

“Our goal always at Make-A-Wish is to deliver strength and hope and joy when it’s needed most. And that’s what this week is all about,” said Trini Kaopuiki Clark, President and CEO of Make-A-Wish Hawaii. “With multiple families here, not only is each child and their family having the times of their lives and creating memories that will last a lifetime, but they’re also able to connect with other families and share about their journey and support each other.”
Disney’s Commitment To Make-A-Wish Continues
While the 100 Disney Wishes Series may have come to an end, Disney’s partnership with Make-A-Wish will continue into the new year.
