Shanghai Disney’s New ‘Zootopia’ Land Has Officially Opened
If you are a Zootopia fan, today is the day you have been waiting for! The world’s first Zootopia-themed land has opened at Shanghai Disney Resort, and we couldn’t be more excited.
Now, fans can immerse themselves in the world of Zootopia while experiencing a brand-new attraction, innovative entertainment, fun new merchandise, and more!

In addition to the new Zootopia: Hot Pursuit attraction and the Disney Zootopia Comes Alive show, the new land will have unique opportunities for the lucky fans who visit. Here is what they can look forward to.
Howl With the Wolves
Over at the Grand Pangolin Arms Apartments, visitors may hear the howling of the abode’s wolf residents.

Guests who respond “Howl-o” or ask “Howl ya doing today” will actually trigger a response from the residents inside. What a unique way to interact with Zootpoia’s residents!
Visit The Citizens of Zootopia
As Zootopia is a living, breathing metropolis, wolves aren’t the only animal residents and guests will be here.

Over at the Jaguar Comedy Club, visitors can hear laughing hyenas as they heckle Sloth’s standup set.
Over at the Beaver Dentist, meanwhile, visitors to Zootopia can hear the sounds of patients getting their fangs worked on.

Finally, at the Rhino Mud Baths, you can hear the bubbling mud as Rhinos enjoy their day at the spa. How fun!
Interactive Restrooms??
Taking interactivity to the next level, the new Zootopia land’s restrooms are teaming with life.

The bathrooms were created with materials from the Rainforest District and are fitted for animals of all sizes.
In addition to the various-sized doors found throughout the restrooms, you can hear animal residents in the adjacent stalls.

Whether it be with comic business or just cell phone chatter, these restrooms will come alive with life.
Easter Eggs Galore
As Zootopia is a metropolis for all animals, the new land was designed with creatures of all shapes and sizes in mind.
All around the new land, you can spot impressive details like elephant-sized benches, tiny doorways, and even a car made to fit a giraffe.

Iconic Treats
Last but not least, let’s talk food. If you have ever dreamed of eating a Zootopia Pawpsicle, now you finally can!
The new treat has been faithfully recreated from the film and flavored with hawthorn berries.

Perhaps even cooler, Zooptopia will also sell a large Chocolate Marshmallow, which “mimics the size and look of the Jumbo-pop Nick Wilde uses to melt and create smaller popsicles in the movie.”
