Disney’s Aulani Resort Puts A Hawaiian Spin on Christmas
While they may not have a white Christmas, Disney’s Aulani Resort is celebrating the holidays in its own way.
Aulani Cast Members kicked off the month with a new show titled He Mo‘olelo Hemolele: A Story of Faith, Hope, & Aloha. Inspired by the Disney Candlelight Processional tradition, the new show featured hula, Hawaiian chants, storytelling, and song.

Visitors to the resort have been thrilled to celebrate the most magical time of the year, with warm weather and sun.
Celebrating the Season
The limited-time experience brought together dozens of volunteers from across the resort to celebrate the season in an all-new way.
“Being involved in ‘He Mo’olelo Hemolele’ has filled me with a sense of pride in our mo‘olelo (stories), mele (music), leo (voices), and hula (dance) that is shared with our guests from around the world,” shared Entertainment Activities cast member Charles Timtim. “And now they can experience the holiday season from a distinctly Hawaiian view.”

What a great addition to the resort!
Christmas on the Islands
Outside of the new show, Aulani celebrated the holidays with Christmas trees and garlands spread throughout the resort.
Aluani also has resort carolers, holly galore, and giant Mickey sugar cookies. What more could anyone want?

With average temperatures in the 80s, however, Christmas looks a little different in Hawaii than it does in most of the United States. So, Aloha Kalikimaka (Merry Christmas) and Hou‘oli Makahiki Hou (Happy New Year) from the Aluani family to yours.
