Relaxing Attractions When You are Stressed at Magic Kingdom
Stressed at the Happiest Place on Earth? It happens- especially this time of year.
Maybe it’s crowded, maybe the weather isn’t the best, maybe the My Disney Experience app is glitching- you can feel your self getting stressed out and frustrated.
Well, take a breath and read on. MickeyBlog is here to help you find your inner zen….and you don’t have to leave the parks.
From thrill rides to water rides and everything in between! Disney World has great rides, but when you need to relax and unwind, these are experiences that will help you stay mellow!
It’s a Small World
Unwind on the “Happiest Cruise That Ever Sailed” during this 10-minute musical boat tour in Fantasy Land. The charming and colorful ride smoothly sails through colorful and inspiring scenes of singing children and images around the world.
The queue moves quickly, you can sit down, and the music is tranquil. Perfect!
Jungle Cruise
Hop aboard a cruise that is humorous, slow-paced, and in a covered boat! The scenic and fun boat tour in Adventureland is “driven” by a comic guide complete with fun banter and audience interaction.
Everyone can relax while still having fun as you discover exotic animals and explore rivers across Asia, Africa and South America.
And if you stop by now you can experience the holiday-themed Jingle Cruise!
Peter Pan’s Flight
Head to Fantasyland for a gentle attraction that will ease your stress and let you relax.
Calm and tranquil, the whole family will enjoy this high-flying adventure over classic characters and scenes from the Disney animated film.
Don’t miss Peter Pan, Wendy, Captain Hook, and more as you gently fly over London and Neverland for a truly calming experience.
Haunted Mansion
Don’t be scared of this spooky fan-fave attraction! The Haunted Mansion is a slow and steady ride taking you through a Haunted Home to experience spooky ghostly scenes.
It is dark, constantly moving, and air conditioned- a perfect combo to destress.
Your personal Doom Buggy will gently weave through haunted chambers and ghostly images!
Watch out for the newly added Hatbox ghost and of course- don’t pick up any hitchhiking ghosts!
Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover
This is my go-to gentle ride! Whether I need to destress, escape the rain, cool off, or just sit down- the PeopleMover is perfect.
The attraction is the perfect combo of mellow, constantly moving, and usually not crowded.
Relax on a leisurely, 10-minute tour of Tomorrowland that is quiet, calming, and perfect for all ages. This mass transit system of the future is a great spot for a Magic Kingdom break.
