Could Star Wars Characters Ahsoka and Bo-Katan Team-up in Live Action?
Moreso than most actors, Katee Sackhoff has become synonymous with the Mandalorian Bo-Katan.
Sackhoff originated the role of Bo-Katan in the animated Star Wars series The Clone Wars before making the jump into live-action in The Mandalorian.
Along the way, audiences have seen Bo-Katan turn from a young rebel on Mandalore who was once uneasily aligned with Darth Maul to the leader of her scattered people as they try to reclaim their home planet.
“This is Din Djarin’s Show”
While many fans were thrilled to see how Bo-Katan’s story advanced in The Mandalorian Season 3, Sackhoff is adamant that the show remains focused on Din Djarin.
“I think in this situation, I think that the story of the Mandalorians and the story of Bo-Katan needed to be told, I don’t believe in any way that it was taking away from Din [Djarin’s] story, nor was that ever the intention,” she says.
“And you know, Pedro and I aren’t in charge of who gets to lead the show [laughs]. This is Din Djarin’s show, it will always be Din Djarin’s show.”
Teaming Up With Ahsoka
While Bo-Katan did not appear in the latest Star Wars series Ahsoka, the Mandalorian does have a long history with the former Jedi. The two have fought against each other and side-by-side in animation, so could we see a live-action team-up in the future?
“Yeah. I mean, I can’t imagine that they wouldn’t at some point,” Sackhoff told The Direct. “But, you know, again, I have no idea. You know, I have absolutely no idea. They don’t tell me anything until I show up at work with my script in hand.”
What Would Bo Think of Sabine?
The character who would most likely bring Ahsoka and Bo-Katan together would be Sabine Wren. At the end of Ahsoka, the Mandalorian finally accepted her role as Ahsoka’s apprentice and looks to be on her way to becoming a full-fledged Jedi.
So, what would Bo-Katan think of Sabine’s decision?
“I think that Bo has always worked side by side with the Jedi and the Mandalorian people,” Sackhoff replied. “And I think that she sees the benefit of the two groups working together. And I think that she would, she would probably think nothing of it other than, ‘Wow, that’s pretty wonderful. Good for you.’”
While a second season of Ahsoka has yet to be announced, Dave Filoni’s upcoming Star Wars film will bring together the characters of the “Mando-Verse.” If nothing else, we should presumably see Bo-Katan, Ahsoka, and Sabine meet then.
