Holiday decorations arrived at Art of Animation Resort, and you’re going to LOVE them!
The holidays are in full swing across Disney World. They’re pulling out all the stops to deck the halls for the season.
Check out the decorations we found in the Art of Animation Resort lobby.
Christmas Tree
This gorgeous Christmas tree fits perfectly with the theme of Art of Animation!
It perfectly represents the bright colors already found throughout the resort. The colors of the ornaments change from the bottom of the tree to the top.
Film strip garland depicts characters from movies featured in the resort, like Ariel, Simba, and Crush.
Other decorations look like paint tubes. The ribbon coming from the tubes represents paint.
The tree topper is made up of paintbrushes and ribbon.
This beautiful tree stands between the lobby and the entrance to the retail shop called the Paint Shop.
Lobby Wreaths
The Art of Animation lobby area displays color progression from one end to another.
The Christmas wreaths match the same beautiful colors represented throughout the year.
Each wreath has a white base. The ornaments and ribbon match the color of the wall behind them.
Also, the wreaths have white lights illuminating them.
Entryway Garland and Wreaths
While much of the theme around Art of Animation Resort is bright and colorful, we can’t forget the black-and-white original animation.
The exterior wreath and garland decorations at the entrance to Classic Hall represent the black and white film strip theme.
Decorators strung white garlands high from the ceiling outside the doors.
Also, white wreaths hang just below the garland.
Sketches of characters from around the resort are attached to both the wreaths and the garland.
Film strip ribbon trails along the garland, and the wreath has a large paintbrush ornament attached.
However, the ornaments on the wreath and garland are black, white, and silver, in contrast to the colorful wreaths and the Christmas tree inside the building.
