The EPCOT Christmas Tree Has Officially Arrived!
With both Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Disney Jollywood Nights kicking off earlier this week, I think it safe to say that the holidays have officially arrived at Walt Disney World!
While we have previously brought you updates from the Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and various resorts around the property, I want to turn your attention to EPCOT, where the park’s giant Christmas tree has finally arrived.
Celebrate the Holidays at EPCOT
Although perhaps not as well-known as the Christmas celebrations at the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT is a truly magical place to visit during the holidays.
World Showcase in particular is a great place to celebrate, learn, and of course, eat during the holidays. Though we are still a couple of weeks away from the kickoff of the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, World Showcase is starting to come alive with holiday cheer.
The hub of EPCOT’s holiday festivities, the park’s large Christmas tree, has been installed at the entrance to the World Showcase promenade.
A Sight to Behold
Located between Port of Entry and Disney Traders, the EPCOT Christmas tree is truly a sight to behold!
This year, the tree is adorned with gold garland. It looks great!
Here is a closer look at the new garland. Lovely!
In true World Showcase fashion, the EPCOT Christmas tree is decorated with ornaments that celebrate the countries represented throughout the park.
On the larger bulb ornaments, you can see flags of different countries.
See if you can spot Canada and China in this picture!
Other ornaments feature season greetings in different languages. This is truly a global affair!
With the Disney100 celebration still in full swing, a large ornament commemorating the occasion can be found in the tree’s center.
Last but not least, as always, the tree is adorned with an angel holding a globe. The perfect topper for EPCOT’s tree.
The Tree Looks Even Better at Night!
While the EPCOT Christmas tree looks spectacular during the daytime, the tree really comes alive at night.
While the lights themselves look great, the gold garland looks absolutely amazing when illuminated!
Here is another look, it’s magical!!
Look at the Disney100 ornament. It looks even better at night!
Here is one more look at the EPCOT Christmas tree in all its splendor. It looks even better in person!
