The One Disney World Holiday Treat We Were Happy to Destroy!
Who’s ready for more Disney holiday goodies?!
A LOT of new and returning holiday eats have just hit Disney World and we’re trying as many of them as we can. Today, we headed over to The Ganachery in Disney Springs for some holiday chocolate, and here’s what we thought!
Gingerbread Mickey Chocolate Piñata
From November 9 through December 31, five different holiday treats are available in Disney Springs, including the new Gingerbread Mickey Chocolate Piñata, the new Gingerbread-Pecan Toffee, the new Mickey Chocolate-covered Gingerbread Cookies, Chocolate Peppermint Bark, and the Olaf Hot Cocoa Surprise.
The new Mickey Chocolate-covered Gingerbread Cookies are made with spiced gingerbread cookies enrobed in milk chocolate and dark 65% chocolate, which sound delicious — but we had our eyes on another treat.
Should we take a look at what we got??
We had to try the Gingerbread Mickey Chocolate Piñata, made of a milk chocolate piñata with crisp pearls and gingerbread toffee for $28.
Chocolate piñatas from The Ganachery are not only a special treat, but they’re also fun! Notice the wooden mallet that came with the piñata.
Before we get to the mallet, let’s take a look at the piñata. This hollow chocolate treat is in the shape of a sphere with white and red details, plus two white and red pinwheel Mickey ears.
The red buttons are such a cute touch!
But now, it’s time to destroy this adorable chocolate creation.
It’s time to crack it open!

Inside the piñata are crisp pearls and gingerbread toffee. Yum!
The chocolate from Ganachery is always a solid choice, and it’s so satisfying to break open their chocolate piñatas.
The gingerbread toffee was amazing, as were the adorable chocolate crisp pearls. The toffee had a hint of gingerbread and was a bit salty, but the sweetness gave it a nice balance.
Ultimately, this treat is VERY shareable, and it would also be a fun activity for kids and families.
