NEW Guide Released for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in Disney World
Disney World is getting into the holiday spirit! We’ve seen a bunch of decorations go up recently, there are festive treats on the way, and the holiday parties are starting soon.

Magic Kingdom’s Christmas Tree
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party kicks off this week at Magic Kingdom — the first party is on November 9th! There is SO much to do at the party that it can get a bit confusing.
Luckily, Disney has anticipated this and created a guide to help you out! Let’s take a look.
Beginner’s Guide to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
Holiday Ride Overlays
There are a bunch of rides that will be open during the party (see the full list right here!). The advantage of the party is that the wait times are usually lower because it’s a limited-capacity event.

Jingle Cruise
And, some attractions even get special holiday overlays! Space Mountain will get a festive twist becoming Space Mountain — Holiday Run. Also, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor will be putting on a holiday comedy show.

We can’t forget about Jingle Cruise! This is available during regular park hours as well (this is not the case for the other attractions with overlays), but you can enjoy it during the party, too.
The other rides with holiday overlays include Tomorrowland Speedway and Mad Tea Party.
Exclusive Entertainment
One of the big draws of the party is the exclusive entertainment! You can catch Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show, and Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration stage show.

The new show — Frozen Holiday Surprise — will also be happening during the party (it happens during regular park hours, too!).

You can also expect some fun holiday dance parties with characters over at Club Tinsel and Disney Junior Jingle Jam. And, don’t miss out on that “snow” falling on Main Street, U.S.A.
Complimentary Holiday Treats
Buying a ticket to the party also gives you access to complimentary cookies and hot cocoa! These will be available in multiple different locations throughout the night.
Each location will have a different cookie flavor and there will be allergy-friendly options available if you ask!
Festive Foods & Drinks
In addition to the snacks included with your ticket, there will also a be a bunch of items you can buy at the party!

These range from sweet peppermint treats to more savory items, like a Holiday Ham Fried Pie.
Characters in their Holiday Best
There will be a bunch of special characters you can meet throughout the night at the party! You can pose for holiday card pictures with festive characters like Jack Skellington, Sally, and Scrooge McDuck.

There will also be characters that you might see often in the parks, but they’ll be wearing their holiday outfits! And, you can meet Santa Claus in Liberty Square or Santa Goofy in Storybook Circus.
