A Beautiful New EPCOT Coin Set Has Arrived at Walt Disney World!
One of the joys of wandering through EPCOT’s World Showcase is getting to peruse the various shops that each pavilion has.
While you have a general idea of the kind of Disney merchandise that you will find at the Creations Shop or Pin Traders-Camera Center, in World Showcase you never know what you will find.
From authentic imported souvenirs to merchandise that combines world culture with the magic of Disney, each shop is unique.
Today, when visiting Kunstarbeit in Kristall inside the Germany pavilion, for example, we came across a new EPCOT coin set!
A Beautiful EPCOT Souvineer
This new EPCOT coin set takes coin collecting to the next level.
In total, there are five beautifully crafted EPCOT coins that celebrate everything that makes the park great.
The iridescent coins were created by the Aribas Brothers, and the attention to detail is stunning.
One coin features everybody’s favorite purple dragon- Figment!
A similar token showcases the monorail rolling past Spaceship Earth.
The third coin prominently features the new EPCOT logo that was unveiled as part of the park’s overall re-imagining.
Moving to World Showcase itself, the fourth coin features iconic pieces of architecture from each of the 11 countries represented at EPCOT.
Finally, last but not least, we have my personal favorite coin.
This token features all of EPCOT’s pavilion logos, from EPCOT Center classics like The World of Motion and The Land icons to newer arrivals such as Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
As a fan of EPCOT history, it is great to see these symbols being brought back to the forefront.
