Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course To Expand to 18 Holes in November
There was a time when Walt Disney World advertised itself as the Vacation Kingdom.
The resort was designed to be more than just four theme parks and hotels, it was a place where you could experience the outdoors, enjoy recreational activities, and expand your horizons.
While the recreational activities at Walt Disney World have dissipated in recent years, the spirit of the Vacation Kingdom lives on in the resort’s golf courses- Disney’s Palm and Disney’s Mongolia.
Disney’s Magnolia Expands To 18 Holes
If you enjoy a round of golf while on your Disney vacation, I have great news. Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course will re-open as an 18-hole course on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.
UPDATE: Disney has since updated the reopening date for Magnolia Golf Course to November 22, 2023.
The course currently plays as a 14-hold course, however in just two weeks the course will be expanded to utilize all 18 holes.
As the finishing touches are still being applied to two of the holes, Disney has shortened holes 15 and 16 to accommodate the use of all 18 of the newly contoured greens. At this time, the course will play as an amended Par 70.

The golf course construction is expected to be completed by the middle of next year. During this time Disney is offering a 15% discount off applicable greens fee rates.
The discount will be applied at the time of check-in.
While the Magnolia Golf Course construction is continuing, golfers can also play Disney’s Palm or Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Course.
By the middle of next year, however, Walt Disney World will truly be “The Happiest Place on Turf.”
