See the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds Fly Over Magic Kingdom and EPCOT
In case you missed it, Disney is kicking off National Veterans and Military Families Month with a bang!
November marks National Veterans and Military Families Month, and as part of an early celebration, the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds flight demonstration team flew over Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. Here’s what we saw!
U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds
At 10:30AM this morning, the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds flight demonstration team flew over both Magic Kingdom and EPCOT! MickeyBlog reporters were in both parks so that we could get the full experience.
In Magic Kingdom, crowds filled Main Street, U.S.A. and the HUB near Cinderella Castle.
We did ask Guest Relations how this flyover would work with two parks, and they told us that they’re starting in Magic Kingdom, followed by EPCOT.
Over in EPCOT, crowds formed near Spaceship Earth, which is where the jets would fly over.
According to the Air Force, a Thunderbirds’ demonstration typically includes a “mix of six aircraft performing formation flying and solo routines” with F-16 Fighting Falcons.
It all began with Magic Kingdom!
