The First Holiday Decorations Have Arrived at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
It’s not even Halloween yet, but Disney is already getting ready for the holidays! We’ve seen preparations happening at places like Hollywood Studios and there is a ton of new festive merchandise available.

Disney also just shared more details about what will be happening in the parks for the holiday season, including over at Animal Kingdom. And today, we already saw the first signs of the holidays in the park!
Merry Menagerie Decorations
The Merry Menagerie decorations have returned to Animal Kingdom for the holiday season!
The Merry Menagerie is something that happens near the front of the Tree of Life on Discovery Island. It’s a bunch of life-size, artisan-sculpted animal puppets that you can interact with!

The puppets have not made their return yet, but the decorations for the festivities have started to pop up in the area. There are similarly designed animal statues on top of buildings and next to the nearby stores.
There are all kinds of animals to look out for!

You also might see a squirrel…
…or an owl!
You have to look up pretty high for this one!
There are really a lot of birds involved.
But, you can also see animals like reindeer and foxes.
These are highly detailed and really pretty to look at. We definitely recommend taking a minute to check them out when you’re in Animal Kingdom!
And, we’ll be on the lookout for even more decorations to be added in the park.
