Disney has confirmed that this closing usually happens around Halloween and Christmas every year. Unless you have a resort reservation or dining reservation, guests will not be permitted to visit.

‘Day Guests’ are usually guests that do not have a resort reservation, but will be allowed to visit the resort grounds just for the day. They can be added to a reservation at the front desk at the Resort’s discretion.
Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is nestled away in the Resort’s 750 acres of pine and cypress forest. Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground evokes the timeless beauty of the American frontier, with deer, rabbits, ducks and armadillos. Discover charming woodland trails, spectacular pool areas and rip-roarin’ entertainment at this picturesque backcountry retreat.

The well-kept campsites are a hit with campers. Great for larger parties, 4 types of campsites accommodate everything from tents to 45-foot and longer RVs, with a maximum of 10 Guests per site. Each campsite is equipped with privacy-enhancing landscaping, water, cable television and electrical hook-ups, a picnic table and a charcoal grill. Most campsites also include a sewer hook-up, and some even permit pets.
