Bob Iger Reflects Back on Disney’s 100 Years of Magic, Memories, and More
On this day in 1923, two brothers from Marceline, Missouri founded their own cartoon studio and changed the course of history.
That’s right, 100 years ago today, the Disney Brothers Studio was officially incorporated by Walt and Roy Disney, starting a century-long journey full of magic, memories, and joy.
Although Disney has been celebrating its 100th anniversary for months now, today is an especially special day in the company’s history.
Bob Iger Thanks Fans
To commemorate the moment, Disney CEO Bob Iger took to social media to not only pay tribute to Walt and Roy but also thank the generations of fans who have grown up with Disney.
“A century ago today, Walt Disney and his brother Roy officially founded the Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio, changing entertainment forever. To all who have imagined with us, laughed with us, and dreamed with us throughout the generations since… Thank you,” Iger wrote.

Celebrating Disney’s Impact
Today is a massive day in Disney history, and as Disney fans we should take a moment to reflect on the company’s history and the impact it has had on our lives.
As Iger said, we have collectively laughed, cried, and dreamed with Disney for a century now, and hopefully, the best is yet to come.
So, thank you Walt and Roy. Look how far the Disney Brothers Studio has come.
