ROOM TOURS: The Villas at Disneyland Hotel!
The Villas at Disneyland Hotel has finally opened to guests!
The colorful tower was added exclusively for Disney Vacation Club members and is themed after classic Disney tales. Each room immerses its guests in Disney’s iconic storytelling and creativity. We had the chance to sneak a peek at the new villas–come tour some rooms with us!
Room Tours
The tower’s room accommodations range from Duo Studios that sleep 2, to 3-Bedroom Grand Villas that sleep 12. Today, we checked out two Deluxe Studios that can accommodate 4 guests, as well as a 1-Bedroom Villa that sleeps up to 5 guests. Come check them out!
Sleeping Beauty Deluxe Studio
The first studio we visited was themed after Sleeping Beauty, with the main nods to the film being found in the artwork above the two queen beds. One bed is stationary while the other folds into the wall…
…revealing a couch.
One piece of artwork shows off a colorful design of Sleeping Beauty’s castle…
…while the other shows Aurora waiting for her prince to come!
Oh–and are those Prince Phillip’s clothes in the closet next to the room’s kitchenette?
Of course, the theming can also be found in the bathroom–check out Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather in the mirror!
Other pieces of artwork around the studio helped add to the theme.
Princess and the Frog Deluxe Studio
We also toured two rooms that were connected. The first room is also a Deluxe Studio, but the theme is Princess and the Frog. Just like the other studio, there’s artwork above the two queen beds showing Tiana’s dream of Tiana’s Palace…
…and Evangeline shining on a sleeping baby Tiana, with her parents looking in.
And you can find Princess Tiana’s clothes hanging in the closet next to the kitchenette!
The bathroom has lilypads and stars in the mirror!
Princess and the Frog 1-Bedroom Villa
The connected 1-bedroom Villa has more areas to lounge and sleep in, along with a rug inspired by New Orleans jazz music!
The dining area holds more Princess and the Frog magic, including a portrait of Princess Tiana.
The kitchen has everything you could possibly need–a sink, a refrigerator with a freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave, dishes, and cabinets.
The main bedroom has stunning artwork of the bayou, along with fireflies lighting the night sky. It also has its own bathroom.
The bathroom is gorgeous and has more subtle nods to Princess and the Frog, like this lilypad mural.
Balcony/View
Check out the gorgeous view from the room! You can see the pool, Trader Sam’s, and the rest of Disneyland Hotel!
3-Bedroom Grand Villa
While we were unable to check out a 3-bedroom Grand Villa, Disney has artist renderings of what the space looks like! There’s the lounge area…
…gorgeous patio…
…and layouts of both floors.
We had so much fun touring these rooms–thanks for joining us! We’ll keep bringing you more sneak peeks at the exciting things happening around the resort, so stay tuned to MickeyBlog.com!
