Disney Announces DATE For 4th Quarter Earnings Call
The Walt Disney Company has set its fourth quarter and fiscal full-year earnings call for Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at 4:30 p.m. ET.
Once again, all eyes will be on Bob Iger as he reports the company’s earnings and gives investors a look into the future.
Results will be released after the close of regular trade on November 8.
What To Expect
As with previous earnings calls, investors will look for Bob Iger to give insight into the company’s streaming services.
With a full acquisition of Hulu on the horizon in addition to a price increase and the rollout of a “one app” experience that combines the libraries of Hulu and Disney+, streaming should once again take center stage.
The other big question shrouding Disney’s future is what the company will do with its linear TV assets. After Bob Iger’s admission that ABC and other cable channels “may not be core” to the company’s future, speculation has run rampant that Disney could divest itself of its linear television assets.
Media entrepreneur Byron Allen has reportedly made a massive offer to Disney for ABC and other networks.
Other topics of interest will include the state of Disney Parks, the studio’s box-office results, and the company’s ongoing battle with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
