A New Railway Station Vignette Debuts on Main Street USA!
One of my favorite parts of Main Street USA is the little vignettes that appear in the various shop windows.
Whether they be the Disney movie displays in the Emporium, the sweet scenes in the Confectionary window, or the House of Magic facade further down the road, I love taking the time to stop and look at displays’ details.

Of all the locales on Main Street, however, my favorite is Center Street.
Center Street
Although the road has been shortened over the years, Center Street still serves as a quiet oasis for the weary Main Street traveler.

One of my favorite Center Street details was the window display showing Daisy selling flowers.
This vignette was a fun tribute to Flower Market which was previously located on the street.
Today, however, the Center Street window has been updated and given a new theme.
Instead of depicting a flower shop, the new scene evokes a turn-of-the-century train station!
A New Main Street Display
While the bulk of the scene is taken up by vintage luggage, a closer inspection of the vignette reveals a ton of fun Easter eggs.
Most prominently, on the center of the bench seat guests can spot popcorn and and apple sitting atop an open book.
The popcorn comes from the Main Street Confectionary, while the book is about the Oregon Trail.
Next to the book, a vintage watch sits on three transportation tickets.
Eagle-eyed visitors will notice that these tickets are large versions of the tickets that Walt Disney World visitors needed to ride the Magic Kingdom ferry, buses, or the Walt Disney World monorail!
While Disney has done away with transportation tickets, it’s great to see this nod to a piece of the resort’s past.
On the ground beneath the bench, a vintage camera sits atop a hatbox.
Last but not least, I want to point out this “To Trains” sign. Longtime visitors to the Magic Kingdom will recognize this style of sign from both Main Street USA and the hub!
All in all, this new Center Street vignette is the perfect blend of historic details and Disney magic. What a great addition to Main Street USA!
