Make Way For New Moana Meet and Greet at EPCOT
Make way, make way for Moana! During this morning’s presentation at the Destination D23 Event in Florida, it was announced that Moana is getting her own meet and greet at EPCOT! This new home for the beloved Disney character will tie in with the theming of Journey of Water, a new attraction opening on October 16, 2023.

Disney that the new Moana meet and greet location will be near Journey of Water which takes guests on a fun and educational adventure through the lifecycle of water.
The Journey of Water will feature many stunning details from Moana. This includes a breathtaking recreation of Te Fiti. Just as Moana befriended the ocean, guests will enjoy magical encounters with water and its playful personality.
In a press release, Disney said of the new Moana meet and greet, “Starting Oct. 16, you’ll be able to meet Moana herself! The Wayfinder will greet fellow voyagers in a new area across from the attraction. What can I say except “You’re welcome!”
