What Is Capture Your Moment?
Capture Your Moment is a personalized 20-minute photo session that preserves the fun and excitement of your special day. These exclusive photo ops can be booked online via the My Disney Experience app. On the day of your Capture Your Moment session you get to select a photo capture location. At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, there are no shortage of epic locations including:
Harambe Market
Harambe Market is one of my favorite places to visit at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. From Tusker House to the Tam Tam Drummers this lively spot is the perfect location to Capture Your Moment.
You can collaborate with your PhotoPass Photographer to pose with props, iconic art, and stunning architecture.
Discovery River near the Tree of Life between Africa and Asia
Those wanting to include the iconic Tree of Life in your Capture Your Moment session will want to set up your session on Discovery River between Tree of Life, Africa, and Asia.
This serene setting is perfect for those who prefer nature as your backdrop. It’s the perfect location for a calm and quiet Capture Your Moment session away from the hustle and bustle.
Asia
This is my favorite area at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The Asia section of the park features mystical jungle ruins, a Tibetan Village, and of course the towering Mount Everest.

The Tree of Life is known for its incredible animal carvings of which there are more than 300! This Capture Your Moment location gets you up close and personal with the intricate details of this important Disney World landmark.

Let’s head back to prehistoric times in Dinoland U.S.A. This location is kitschy and zany and perfect for guests who are looking for a fun, unique backdrop!
