Disney World’s Genie+ Hits Cheapest Price Since June
Today, Disney World’s Genie+ service was offered for the lowest price since the introduction of per-park pricing on June 23.
For those who don’t know, Genie+ is a service that allows you to “skip the line” and make reservations to ride your favorite attraction. Instead of waiting in the normal queue, Genie+ lets guests enter the Lightning Lane.

The service replaced the FastPass+ system that was a staple of Walt Disney World for years. Since its introduction, Genie+ has typically cost somewhere between $20 to $30 a day.
Walt Disney World Enters Its “Off-Season”
With schools starting up around the country, however, Walt Disney World is officially entering into its “off-season.” Because of the dynamic pricing that Genie+ uses, the service costs less money on lower attendance days.

Today, for example, guests could purchase the Genie+ service for $20 if they planned on visiting multiple parks, Magic Kingdom, or Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The service was even cheaper for guests planning on going to Disney’s Animal Kingdom or EPCOT, costing only $15 per guest.

When Genie+ was originally introduced in October 2021, the service was not park-specific, but instead cost a flat rate no matter which park guests intended to visit. Before the introduction of the new pricing model, Genie+ had reached a max price of $35 a day.
A Devicive Service
Disney’s Genie+ has been a controversial service for longtime Walt Disney World fans. While some guests are happy to pay to be able to skip the line of their favorite attractions, other visitors are off-put by another additional charge to their visit to the parks, especially considering Genie+’s predecessor, FastPass+, was free.
Lightning Lane
If you plan on visiting Walt Disney World during this slower season, it may be a good time to try the service out. At least you know are getting a good deal!
