Saludos Amigos Premieres (1942)
On this day in 1942, Saludos Amigos had its world premiere in Rio De Janeiro.

Set in Latin America, the package film was made up of four different animated segments- Lake Titicaca, Pedro, El Gaucho Goofy, and Aquarela do Brasil.
The Legend of Coyote Rock Released (1945)
On this day in 1945, the Pluto short The Legend of Coyote Rock was released.

In the cartoon, Sheepdog Pluto has to protect his flock from a coyote named Bent-Tail.
Ewok Village Opens (1989)
On this day in 1989, Ewok Village opened at the Disney-MGM Studios.

Tokyo Disneyland Reaches Milestone (1992)
On this day in 1992, Tokyo Disneyland welcomed its 120-millionth guest.
The park originally opened in 1983, and has been delighting guests ever since!.
Jeffery Katzenberg Leaves Disney (1994)
On this day in 1994, Jeffery Katzenberg left The Walt Disney Company.

Katzenberg had led Walt Disney Studios through the Disney Renaissance, spearheading the studio as it released films such as The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Aladdin.
Goofy’s Paint ‘n Play House Opens (2012)
On this day in 2012, Goofy’s Paint ‘n Play House opened in Toontown.

On the attraction, guests operate a Toontone Splat Master (a paint-shooting device) to redecorate Goofy’s room.
Newsies: The Musical Ends Broadway Run (2014)
On this day in 2014, Newsies: The Musical ended its run on Broadway.

The show, which was based on the 1992 film Newsies, originally debuted on Broadway in 2012.
