CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: Tiki Torches Added To Journey of Water at EPCOT
Our MickeyBlogger Melissa was at EPCOT over the weekend and captured a few photos from the location of EPCOT’s upcoming attraction Journey of Water. The Moana-inspired attraction is slated to open at some point this year and will take guests on a fun and educational journey through the lifecycle of water.
Though construction walls are still up around the attraction, we are able to see above them which provides us fun insights into how Journey of Water is coming along.
As you can see from the latest photo, new lighting has been installed along the attraction queue. The fun tiki torches you can see in these images are a new addition.
The attraction is big on tropical details. Also, notice the rock formation which features the symbol of water that appeared in Moana. This symbol appears in the new logo for Journey of Water which we shared with you last week.
We can’t wait to check out the attraction when it opens later this year!
At the moment, Disney has yet to reveal an official opening date for Journey of Water. However, this is a story that we will continue to follow closely and we promise to keep you posted.
