Construction Update: Imagineers Adding Final Touches to Journey of Water
Our MickeyBlogger Miranda popped over to EPCOT yesterday and took a few photos of construction on the upcoming attraction Journey of Water. If you’ve been following along with us here at MickeyBlog you’ll know that the attraction is slated to open at some point this year With the end of summer just around the corner, we were curious to see how construction on the attraction is coming along.
Let’s take a look.
As you can see, the attraction is still shrouded behind construction walls but it is starting to look like a stunning tropical oasis!
Journey of Water will be a walkthrough attraction that draws its inspiration from the beloved Disney film Moana.
The attraction is intended to provide a fun and educational look at the life cycle of water.
Above, you can see the clearest image yet of the attraction including the admission area.
The last time I gave you a Journey of Water update, they had just started testing the water, and now you can see it flowing throughout the attraction.
As you can see, there are still some areas of the attraction under development.
We can’t wait to check out the attraction when it opens later this year! If you look at the rock formations on the left, you can see all of the tropical blooms as well as symbols that you may recognize from the film.
