These 5 ‘Coco’-Inspired Easter Eggs are Found Only at Disneyland Paris!
Ok Disney friends and foodies- get ready! Casa de Coco – Restaurante de Familia at Disneyland Paris is opening in a few days!
On July 29th, guests can experience a new dining experience inspired by the beloved Pixar movie Coco.

Disney Imagineers partnered with Disneyland Paris teams and Pixar Animation Studios to create a delicious and immersive experience that includes an amazing menu and special decor and items that celebrate Miguel’s family heritage.
Here are five unique items you’ll only discover at this Coco-inspired restaurant!
Gold Miguel Statue

Enter the terrace and be greeted by the smiling face of Miguel! He is dressed in traditional mariachi charro and stands proudly as a life-size bronze statue.
The image conjures up memories of the traditional Mexican songs in the movie.
200 Papel Picados

Next, enter the patio, and look up to see the colorful papel picados!
This Mexican tradition introduces guests to the past of the Rivera family inspired by the movie’s opening scene. Almost 200 papel picados were created by Imagineers and are on display in the new restaurant.
Spirit Guides Abound

Alebrijes (spirit guides to the Land of the Dead) are another Mexican art form that appear throughout the restaurant.
Keep your eyes open for a huge carved and colorful alebrije reminiscent of Dante, Miguel’s spirit guide.
The Iconic Guitar

Music and guitars are central themes in Coco, and Héctor’s guitar takes a place of pride and is on display in the back of the room.
There are also notes from pages of his diary!
Celebrating Family

On the other side of the dining area, portraits of beloved family members are front and center. The room also pays homage to their iconic shoemaking trade with traditional woven fabrics, shoemaker’s tools, and shoe boxes.
