We’re Celebrating Dole Whip Day With a Special Treat in Disney World
Raise your hand if you’re a Dole Whip fan! 🙋♀️
Fans know that Dole Whip is one of the most classic Disney treats with all kinds of different flavors and iterations available, like the Orange Bird Nest Dole Whip, the Watermelon-Lime Cone, and even Cotton Candy! Today just so happens to be Dole Whip Day, and now we’re trying a returning treat!
‘Olu Mel Dole Whip
We stopped by Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort’s Pineapple Lanai in Disney World to try the ‘Olu Mel Dole Whip, which is a returning treat — but it does look a bit different this year.

The ‘Olu Mel Dole Whip is made with Dole Whip Lime, a white chocolate ‘Olu Mel, crispy pearls, edible flowers, and glitter for $6.49.
For those of you who don’t know, ‘Olu Mel is a shy toy turtle who represents Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawaii. He’s friends with Duffy and his hobbies include playing the ukelele and singing.
So when we say that this is for lime fans, we mean it. You really have to like lime to enjoy this! It was also on the sweeter side, rather than sour.
As with all Dole Whip treats, this one was super refreshing. Remember that the flowers are edible too!
Also, note that ours had TONS of edible glitter, which had a light vanilla flavor, but the catch is that it got EVERYWHERE. Expect to be really sparkly after eating this treat.
The ‘Olu Mel Dole Whip will be available at Pineapple Lanai through July 23rd. Keep following MickeyBlog for more Disney news!
