Despite Crowds, Holiday Wait Times Remain Low
Typically, the fourth of July celebrations at Walt Disney World Resort draw some of the year’s biggest crowds. This morning, the people gathered at the Magic Kingdom gates proved that today would live up to the hype.
Still though, wait times throughout the Magic Kingdom remained suprisingly low. At the time of publishing, the longest wait in Magic Kingdom was Seven Dwarfs Mine Train with a wait time of 85 minutes.
Though the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train wait always runs quite long, other popular rides like Peter Pan’s Flight and Jungle Cruise still remain well under an hour wait.
Crowds appear evenly dispersed today, keeping wait times more reasonable. Even Space Mountain’s wait time hovered right around half an hour late into the morning.
A number of meet-and-greet queues found themselves suprisingly short too before 10:00 a.m.
As the morning went on, those times have steadily increased. Fairytale Hall waits climbed to 45 minutes at the time of publishing. The queue at Town Square Theater to meet Mickey Mouse pushed close to an hour as 11:00 a.m. approached.
Longest Wait Times Resort Wide

Around the Walt Disney World Resort, the longest wait times included some reliable favorites at Disney’s Hollywood Studios – Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Slinky Dog Dash remained closed at the time of publishing, which could contribute to those higher wait times around the park. Even Mickey and Minnies Runaway Railway topped a 105-minute wait at time of publishing.
