Oogie Boogie Bash Sales Have Closed and Won’t Reopen for At Least Another Week
It’s been an interesting day for Oogie Boogie Bash sales! If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog today you’ll know that Oogie Boogie Bash tickets went on sale to the general public this morning! This fabulous Disney’s California Adventure After Hours Halloween bash is coming back for another spooktacular year! However, those hoping to book online may have encountered more than a few hiccups today!

Guests hopping onto the virtual queue for Oogie Boogie Bash tickets at 9am this morning had a rude awakening when after 30 minutes of waiting they were given the notification that sales for Oogie Boogie Bash were being paused.
From there we’ve heard sporadic reports throughout the day. Some bookers managed to secure Oogie Boogie Bash tickets with little to no effort while others wondered if the system was being haunted by Grim Grinning Ghosts. Not long after, the following pop-up appeared on the booking screen:
As you can see, the pop-up indicated that Disney was aware of the technical issues that guests were having when booking Oogie Boogie Bash tickets. The message went on to say that Oogie Boogie Bash ticket sales bookings have been temporarily paused and that a resolution was being worked on. Disney advised guests to keep checking back for updates and finally this evening we were given one. The latest update may surprise you!
As you can see from the message above, Disney has opted to keep the queue closed for Oogie Boogie Bash tickets and the length of time might surprise you! The official line from Disney is that those interested in Oogie Boogie Bash tickets will want to check back on July 6 at 9am PT for an update. What you’ll notice in the language is that this is NOT when tickets go on sale but merely an update. On July 6th, Disney may provide us with a date and time that they will be resuming sales for the Oogie Bash in 2023. As of going to print, no official on-sale date has been given.

Already have tickets for Oogie Boogie Bash? Don’t worry. Disney has said that they will honor all existing ticket bookings for Oogie Boogie Bash. That means that if you were among the lucky few that managed to get your tickets today you’re all sorted!
