Didn’t Get a Capture Your Moment Reservation? It’s Always Worth Checking on the Day!
Earlier this year, Disney World unveiled a brand new PhotoPass option for those looking for guaranteed 20-minute photo sessions with a PhotoPass photographer to get just the right shot for your engagement, honeymoon, birthday, or even just to celebrate your family vacation. Capture Your Moment Sessions are bookable in advance (up to 60 days before your travel dates) and though we certainly recommend advanced bookings when possible, walk-up appointments may be available on the day!
This is a great tidbit of information for those who perhaps wanted to book a photo session but found that they were already booked up on your day of choice or those who didn’t know about the service and weren’t able to book in advance.
During our visit to the Magic Kingdom over the weekend a Disney PhotoPass photographer was outside the Fantasyland Capture Your Moment Check-In Point at Sir Mickey’s to advertise that booking slots were available!
For those unfamiliar, Capture Your Moment photo sessions cost $99 for a private 20-minute session.
Pending availability, guests also have the option of booking two sessions back to back for $199 which would give you a 40-minute private session!
It’s also worth noting that two different Capture Your Moment options are available at Magic Kingdom. There is the Cinderella Castle & Fantasyland options which checks-in at Sir Mickey’s!
In addition, there is also the Capture Your Moment Main Street USA and Cinderella Castle.
The check-in for the Main Street photo session is at the Town Square Theatre as soon as you walk into the park.
This is worth noting especially if walk-ups aren’t available at one location. You may be able to find them at the other! It’s definitely worth looking into if you’re in the mood for a private PhotoPass photo shoot!

- Capture Your Moment – EPCOT
- Capture Your Moment – Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Guests with Memory Maker, Memory Maker One Day, or Annual Passholders will get free downloads of your Capture Your Moment Photos. Otherwise, you can purchase your individual favorite photos to download and share!
Again, though Capture Your Moment walk-ups are occasionally available, you can also book in advance via the My Disney Experience app! Full payment is due at the time of booking. Guests can cancel your session up to 24 hours in advance for a refund.
