Let’s Go Inside a Deluxe Studio at Boulder Ridge Villas
Our roving MickeyTravels agent Jennifer McCormack is surprising us with another Walt Disney World resort visit! Today we’re heading over to the stunning Wilderness Lodge to check out one of two DVC locations onsite – Boulder Ridge Villas!
For fans of the Western USA Lodge aesthetic of Wilderness Lodge, you’ll see many of these details carry over to Boulder Creek. It’s themed after the 1860’s railroad hotels of the American West.
Guests get to enjoy all of the rustic beauty of a Wilderness Lodge stay with extra space and amenities. Today we’re looking at one of the Deluxe Villas found at Boulder Ridge. Let’s go inside!
Like most Deluxe Studios on Walt Disney World properties, the Deluxe Studio features one queen bed and then pull-out options. As you can see, these rooms have just been redone and the furnishings updated.
The room features Native American-inspired textiles including tapestries, rugs, and headboard. We love the dark foliage style of the curtains!
Above is a look at the sofa. Above is a fabulous image of Donald taking his scouts on a nature walk! This sofa actually converts into a pull-down Murphy bed.
This is the perfect layout as during the day you can fold the bed up for extra space and at night you’ll have more room to spread out with an additional queen bed.
As you can see, the bureau also holds a pull-down single bunk-style bed. This means that the room can comfortably sleep five. However, it should be noted that single pull-downs are better suited for kids.
All deluxe studios at Boulder Ridge come with kitchenettes so that you can prepare snacks from the comfort of your room!
This includes a sink, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster oven.
This space is perfect for having breakfast on the go!
The studios feature wood-like laminate flooring.
The bathroom has a separate sink area with one sink and individual areas for the shower/tub and toilet.
The showers have been re-tiled and we love the dark fixtures.
You’ll find need rustic touches throughout the room.
Properties at Boulder Ridge also benefit from balconies or patios.
For those who aren’t members of Disney Vacation Club, Deluxe Studios at Boulder Ridge Villas can be booked for prices ranging from $450 – $750 per night depending on the time of year.
