New Cast Member Name Tags Sparkle at Walt Disney World
You can recognize a Disney Cast Member name tag anywhere, not just by their unique, bubbly shape, but also by the pride and spirit belonging to the person lucky enough to wear it.
These name tags represent all the passion, history, and magic behind The Walt Disney Company, and we love how they are used to honor such wonderful Cast Members!

Today, an exciting announcement has been released to Cast Members via the Walt Disney World Cast and Community Facebook page, advising everyone that a dazzling new design of name tag is about to magically arrive in their mailboxes. Now that the 50th anniversary celebrations have concluded, Cast Members at the resort were due a new name tag upgrade, and we’re so excited to be able to get our first look at these today!

In the social media post, the community shared the heart warming sentiment that this new design had been inspired directly by Cast Members, who they see as “the guiding light for The Most Magical Place on Earth.”
With the same iconic shape as always, these beautiful tags have now been upgraded to feature a star-studded background, with a shimmering gold star shining above the Cinderella Castle icon. Almost as though they were cut out of pure pixie dust!

According to the announcement, Walt Disney World Cast Members can expect these name tags to begin arriving directly to them by post starting from today. An exciting start to the weekend indeed! So, if you’re a Cast Member yourself, be sure to pay close attention to your mailbox, as something very special is due to arrive soon!
These beautiful new name tags will replace the previous ones worn by Cast Members at the resort, which shimmered in EAR-idescence for the 50th anniversary. Over at the Disneyland Resort, Cast Members are currently sporting designs recognizing the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company, which you can admire in our post here.
