Several Disneyland Attractions Closing For Refurbishment
News is coming in this afternoon that several Disneyland theme park attractions will be closing for refurbishment at the beginning of the Summer. The refurbishments are currently posted online at disneyland.com. If you will be at the theme over the next few months, you will want to take note of the following closures.
Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride
First up is the classic dark attraction Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride which as you can see from the screenshot above will be closed for refurbishment beginning on June 5, 2023. As of going to print, Disneyland does not say when the attraction is expected to reopen.
Peter Pan’s Flight
Similarly, refurbishment information is now listed on disneyland.com for another classic Fantasyland attraction Peter Pan’s Flight. The ride too will be closing on June 5, 2023 again with no additional details regarding a reopening date.
Alice in Wonderland
Guests will not be able to venture down the rabbit hole when Alice in Wonderland closes for refurbishment starting on June 5, 2023.
What we do know is that all three Fantasyland attractions listed above are located in the same building backstage. This likely means that maintenance is being carried out to the building as a whole, impacting the three attractions listed above.
In addition, guests visiting Disneyland will want to note that Matterhorn Bobsleds is currently closed for refurbishment and will reopen on June 1, 2023.
Lastly, as you are probably well aware, Splash Mountain is closing for a lengthy refurbishment for it’s reimagining as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
