After A Rocky Start, Walt Disney World Annual Pass Sales Are Underway!
After a rocky start to the morning, Walt Disney World Annual Passes are now officially on sale.
Die-hard Disney fans set their alarms a little extra morning for the chance to purchase Walt Disney World Annual Passes for the first time in over 18 months.
Disney had originally stated that new Annual Pass sales would begin no earlier than 6AM ET this morning, which led many to assume that new pass sales would begin promptly at 6.
Sales Began At 6:47AM ET
Unfortunately for those of us who rose early at 6AM, we were greeted with an all too familiar sight.
After almost an hour of waiting, Disney Annual Passes were finally available for sale beginning at 6:47AM ET.
For those of us getting a little tired of watching the Space Mountain animation, the updated screen was a sight for sore eyes.
After entering the queue, potential Annual Passholders were greeted with a screen that said:
“When your turn comes, you’ll have 10 minutes to enter the site.
Annual Pass availability is limited and being in the queue does not guarantee the ability to purchase any Annual Pass.”
At the bottom of the screen, a progress bar appeared, as did an appropriate wait time.
While some fans have already been able to score their coveted passes, others have a wait time of “more than an hour.”
Just how long the Annual Passes remain available remains to be seen.
