The Digital Road Signs are Up and Running in Disney World
Things change almost all of the time in Disney World. We see construction happening regularly around the parks and resorts!
Right now, work continues over on Splash Mountain as it turns into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. There is also a new DVC building being built at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
But, there are smaller changes that happen often, too.
We learned previously that Disney World would be replacing their iconic purple road signs. We saw some of them replaced with blue signs previously, but now there are digital signs up!
Digital Road Signs
The digital road signs have been activated on some of the roads in Disney World! We saw this sign when we were heading west on EPCOT Center Drive this morning that shows your which parks and resorts are up ahead.
Do note that the screens of these digital signs don’t look jumbled like this in real life — it’s just how they photograph! There was another digital sign near the EPCOT exit on EPCOT Center Drive.
Then on World Drive moving towards Magic Kingdom we saw this sign. It didn’t appear to be working yet but it is installed!
On the Hollywood Studios exit from World Drive we saw these signs. It’s right after you drive under the main entrance sign.
On Buena Vista Drive outside of Disney’s Riviera Resort, we saw this sign which wasn’t on yet.
Finally, we saw workers installing this new sign outside of the Fantasia Mini Golf course!
We’ll let you know if we see any other changes. Stay tuned for more Disney World news and updates!
