Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage! Opens (1992)
Also on this day in 1992, Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage! opened at Disneyland.

Performed on the Videopolis Stage, the Broadway style show was similar to the attraction at the Disney-MGM Studios.
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh Opens (2003)
On this day in 2003, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh opened in Disneyland.

The dark ride attraction replaced the Country Bear Jamboree in Critter Country.
Playhouse Disney- Live on Stage Opens (2003)
Also on this day in 2003, Playhouse Disney- Live on Stage opened at Disney’s California Adventure.

The show featured segments based on Rolie Polie Olie, Stanley, The Book of Pooh, and Bear in the Big Blue House.
Winnie the Pooh Gets A Star On The Walk of Fame (2006)
On this day in 2006, Winnie the Pooh received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The event also marked WInnie the Pooh’s 80th birthday!
Yamabuki Closes (2009)
On this day in 2009, Yamabuki closed inside Disneyland’s Paradise Pier Hotel.

The Japanese restaurant had opened in 1996.
The Avengers Premiers (2012)
Finally, on this day in 2012, the world premiere of The Avengers took place at the El Capitan Theatre.
