Connor is a Guest Talent Coordinator who shares the concepts of classroom physics with these eager students.
He shares how Disney Imagineers use gravity, friction, inertia and Newton’s Laws of Motion to create sensations of weightlessness on The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
The popular program also looks at the unique launching and braking technology on Slinky Dog Dash.
Early Inspiration
Cooner was inspired to work for Disney after a high school performing experience at Walt Disney World. The experience had him thinking “This would be such a cool place to work. Someone has to work here, why can’t it be me?”
Conner moved from Indiana to Orlando to work for the company. Today, he impacts the next generation of high school students as a Guest Talent Coordinator.
He teaches the Physics of Disney Parks workshop, and additionally, hosts other high school choirs and bands performing at Walt Disney World Resort.
“The greatest part about actually teaching and hosting the classes is knowing there may be a student like me there. You never know who you are going to inspire. My life and career are proof that what we do matters and makes a difference,” Conner said.
