Disney Announces Pay Increase For College Program Participants
We have good news for cast members enrolled in the Disney College Program!
Today, the company announced that all College Program members would see a pay increase to $16 per hour beginning on June 4, 2023.

The new pay rate is a $2 per hour increase from the prior starting wage of $14 per hour.
For those who are planning on joining the program, or perhaps are just interested, the news applies to you too!
The new starting rate of $16 an hour will apply to both current college program participants and all future hires.
The Latest Pay Increase
The latest Disney cast member pay increase comes on the heels of Walt Disney World and the Service Trades Council Union reaching an agreement on a new labor contract.

That new deal provided cast members a starting wage of $17 an hour and a guaranteed $18 an hour by December.

At the time, the deal was lauded as a new day for cast members, who have been struggling with Central Florida’s increased cost of living.
Learn More About The College Program
The Disney College Program allows participants to gain on-the-job experience while preparing for their future.
The program is open to students who are at least 18 years old and currently enrolled and taking classes at an accredited U.S. college, university, or higher education. It is also available to those who have graduated within the last 24 months.
