Why You Need this Carbonara Garlic Mac & Cheese in Disneyland
It’s time for more food from the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival! This festival runs from March 3rd to April 25th over at Disney California Adventure park at Disneyland Resort.
We went to the festival recently to use our Sip and Savor Pass! This pass gives you 8 entitlement tabs that you can redeem for select food and beverages at the booths around the festival. You can get it for $59.
So, come along with us to check out the Garlic Kissed booth at the festival!
Garlic Kissed
The Garlic Kissed booth is located near the entrance to Cars Land right by Mendocino Terrace. It specializes in — you guessed it — Garlic!
We got the Carbonara Garlic Mac & Cheese Featuring Nueske’s Peppered Bacon to try out! This is $8.50.
This is a very hearty portion of macaroni and cheese! So, even though it might look small, it’s very filling. We chose this option because it’s a fan favorite, so we needed to see what all of the hype was about!
This dish has as pretty smoky flavor that lingers after you’ve taken a bite. You can also taste the garlic underneath all of that cheese and bacon!
The topping is nice and salty — it gives this a very nice crunch. The bacon could’ve been a little bit crispier, but that’s personal preference and honestly, it’s still delicious.
This macaroni and cheese would make a great snack on a cooler evening here, or something great to split with a friend! Don’t let the thought of having garlic breath scare you, it’s a pretty tame flavor.
So, for anyone looking for a savory snack, this is an awesome option!
Also available at this both is the Grilled Top Sirloin with Roasted Garlic-Gruyère Smashed Potatoes and Black Garlic Chimichurri for $9, along with some specialty drinks like the Raspberry Limoncello-Ade for $16 and the Guava-Lychee Mule for $17.
There are a lot of great options here, but if you want to know about more booths at the festival, check out our review of the Elote Paleta, Snickers Macaron, and the Avocado Time Food Booth at Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival!
