A Downpour Floods Tron at the Magic Kingdom
There was a slight issue at Tron Lightcycle / Run at the Magic Kingdom today as a downpour floods the exit!
The Cleanup
Mary Poppins famously said, “In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun!”
I certainly hope these Cast Members remembered that as they swept out all the flood waters from the attraction.
Indeed, there was quite a mess! As you can see from the pictures, there was a decent amount of water.
Florida Rain
If you visit Florida, then you know it has beautiful weather.
However, as warmer (or scorching) temperatures enter the state, then it’s also time for something else…daily rainfall!
It is just about guaranteed that rain occurs daily in Orlando once the temperatures rise. However, the rain often does not last long.
If you give it a few minutes, the rain passes fairly quickly.
However, sometimes a lot of rain can fall within 10 to 20 minutes. This is what happens in the Magic Kingdom.
A New Attraction
If you follow along with MickeyBlog, then you know that Tron Lightcyle / Run recently began a soft opening through April 2, 2023.
Well, Cast Members will run into unexpected issues with any new ride. So, they may not have expected this flood after today’s downpour.
At least they keep smiling, Cast Members are magical!
Whistle While You Work
Accordingly, Cast Members at Tron Lightcycle / Run began cleaning up right away!
This is the exit area of the attraction. Guests definitely had to watch while leaving, so they did not slip.
As you can tell from the pictures, the squeegees were full of water as the area was cleaned up.
Therefore, if a downpour floods Tron Lightcycle / Run during your time at the attraction, just be careful down the hallway.
