FIRST LOOK: The Honey Bee-Stro at EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival
MickeyBlog is spending the day at EPCOT for the debut of the 2023 Flower and Garden Festival! Since it’s the lunchtime hour, we’re working our way around the park sampling some of the goodies at the Outdoor Kitchens. Our next stop is The Honey Bee-stro!
If you’re lucky enough to be visiting EPCOT during the fest then you’ll want to buzz on over and give some of these honey-inspired goodies a try!
The Honey Bee-stro features a nice mix of entrees and beverages. Here’s a quick look at the food menu:
Food:
- Chicken and Waffles: Crispy Honey-brined Chicken and Honey Sweet Corn Bread Waffle with Whipped Honey Butter and Spicy Honey
- Pollinator Flatbread with Honey Whipped Mascarpone, Honey Caramelized Onions, Blueberry Gastrique, Prosciutto, Honey Whipped Goat Cheese, Arugula, Honey Vinaigrette and Bee Pollen
- Honey-Mascarpone Cheesecake with Honey Whipped Cream, Whipped Honey, Crystalized Honey, Honeycomb, Dehydrated Honey and Fennel Pollen Meringue Kisses
Beverages offered at The Honey Bee-stro are as follows:

- Florida Orange Groves Winery Orange Blossom Honey Wine, St. Petersburg, FL
- Honey-Peach Freeze with Blueberry Vodka and Streusel
Our MickeyBlogger Miranda queued up to try a variety of the goodies on offer.
We have to say the presentation looks pretty darn amazing!
First up is the Honey Bee-stro Pollinator Flatbread.
Miranda was a fan of this flatbread saying that the combination of the Mascarpone, arugula and blueberries was a delectable mix.
Miranda also said that the flatbread was perfectly cooked and the flavors were fresh and sophisticated!
Next up is the Chicken and Waffles.
Miranda said that she will definitely be including the Chicken and Waffles in her “Best of the Fest” list.
This Honey Bee-stro dish is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.
Miranda was pleasantly surprised that the waffle in this entree was a cornbread/jalapeno waffle which paired perfectly with the fried chicken.
Both the waffle and chicken were cooked to perfection. The entrée even came with a side of Honey Butter which provided the perfect finishing touch.
We hope you have room for dessert because we tried the Honey Mascarpone Cheesecake.
Out of the three dishes we tried at The Honey Bee-stro, this was our MickeyBloggers least favorite.
However, that’s not to discredit this sweet treat in any way as all of the dishes at this Outdoor Kitchen were fabulous!
The main criticism of the cheesecake is that it wasn’t quite as flavorful as we had hoped. However, the texture and presentation were spot on!
Also take time to explore the cute display at The Honey Bee-stro.
This outdoor kitchen was sponsored by the National Honey Board and the garden takes you on a journey of how honey is created and its important role in the ecosystem!
Readers are encouraged to keep following along with MickeyBlog for further Flower and Garden Festival news and updates.
We’ll be coming to LIVE! from EPCOT all day long!
