Disneyland Follows Through With Lower-Priced Ticket Options for Summer

MickeyBlog just reported that The Walt Disney Company is aiming to deliver a better Guest experience. It looks like Disneyland is following through with lower-priced ticket options for summer!

It’s no secret that summer is one of Disneyland Resort’s peak seasons. With kids out of school and optimal weather, Guests flood into Southern California’s Theme Parks for endless days of fun!

Lower-Priced Ticket Options

The Orange County Register reports that Disneyland has followed through on its promise to “boost the number of low-priced days by approximately 50% in 2023.” Disneyland just released lower-priced ticket options for 5 dates in June.

This is a substantial increase from last summer when there were no lower-priced ticket options available. The cost of single-park tickets on these value dates is $104, the lowest possible price level.

Disneyland chose an optimal time to release this info, as people have begun planning trips for summer. These more affordable tickets are available for both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.

Dates include June 1, 5, 6, 7, and 8. In January, Disneyland announced that it would be offering “nearly two months of dates in 2023 with daily tickets at $104.” Tiered pricing debuted in 2016, with cheaper prices for less busy times of the year and higher prices during peak seasons.

While Disneyland raised prices for the top tiers, the lowest price has stayed at $104. This year, Disneyland already increased the amount of lower-priced offerings by 8%.

In order to make good on its promise to increase the number to 50%, Disney needs to get going! Price calendars are released about four months prior, so currently Guests can see options until early June, exhibiting the new, lower-priced dates.

To break it down in numbers, Disneyland has offered 26 days of $104 tickets spanning from January to June 2023. So far, this is only 2 more days than the same time period in 2022.

In order to meet its promised quota, it will need to add 30 to 35 lower-priced ticket days to the second half of the year. Halloween and Christmas are well known as even busier times to visit the Parks.
