The NFL’s biggest event is just around the corner and fans have some exciting entertainment to look forward to. Disney is expected to premiere several highly anticipated film trailers during Super Bowl LVII!
It’s no secret that people love a good Super Bowl ad. Deadline shares that nowadays, trailers have become their own events!
Super Bowl LVII
On February 12, the Kansas City Chiefs face off against the Philadelphia Eagles. Typically, studios share snippets of longer trailers that will debut at Sunday’s game in advance, getting fans pumped to tune in.
People who miss the game day’s trailers often catch up on social media the next day. Last year, Marvel was the star of the show, as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was the “most watched spot on social in the 24 hours following” the game.
Its 93 million views were just a preview of its coming success. The movie ended up with the largest box office opening last year in the United States and Canada.
It brought in $187.4M, and also became the third highest-grossing movie of the year behind Top Gun: Maverick and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Disney is no stranger to the Super Bowl, and this year, fans have a lot of exciting sneak peeks to anticipate. Deadline reports that trailers are expected to debut for the following films:
