BREAKING: TRON Sign Officially Up in Magic Kingdom
Today is a VERY important day in Tomorrowland! Our MickeyBlogger is on the scene where the TRON sign has gone up at the entrance to the attraction.
The stunning space-aged TRON sign features the same incredible logo that fans of the movie will be familiar with.
Underneath you can see “Lightcycle/Run” in white lettering.
The new logo definitely has pride of place in the center of the walkway that will lead guests up to the attraction when it opens in April!
If you’ve been following along with us you’ll know that TRON will open on April 4th.
Prior to this will be a period of cast member previews with the first one taking place in early February.
It shouldn’t be long before our images from atop the PeopleMover show guests on the lightcycles screaming with delight.
As construction winds down, the TRON coaster has been a bustle of activity.
Over the weekend custodial staff were arriving on the scene for the first time.
Lighting has also been installed along the walkway near where the new sign is.
Everything looks perfectly in place and we can’t wait to climb on board!
We’re looking forward to seeing the new TRON Lightcycle sign all light up after the sun goes down.
